Plus, Steven Yeun dishes out how brutal the upcoming season will be with the gang going against a group of cannibals.
A sneak peek into the upcoming fifth season of "The Walking Dead" has the potential to start fans riot. The beloved character Daryl Dixon is found in the picture provided by Entertainment Weekly in a dangerous position.
The last time viewers saw the crossbow-wielding survivor, he and the gang were cramped in a train car inside Terminus. A group of possible cannibals took them hostage and they are possibly the ones who gag and torture Daryl.
"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC in October. Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn, offered an insight into the new season. "I can't give too much away 'cause it's pretty brutal. I will say the group is evolving, the group is not a group to be messed with anymore. I think last year where we left off with Rick saying 'They don't know who they are screwing with' is absolutely right," Yeun told E! News.
He continued, "These people have gotten through quite a bit and they persevered over a lot and they lost countless lives, but at the same time, the people that have continued to live on have become stronger. You kind of don't want to mess with these guys. I will leave it at that!"
It has been a common notion that showrunners are not afraid to kill lead characters and that everyone in the cast is expandable. When asked whether any character would lose their life this season, Yeun said, "Ugh, I mean. Sometimes it's rough, I mean sometimes its awesome. We will see what happens, yeah."
