A similar unscripted program on VH1 titled 'Dating Naked' is moving forward and has released a trailer ahead of its July 17 premiere.

AceShowbiz - FOX may have a second thought about its reality show that will feature people dating in their birthday suit. Individuals with knowledge of the project reveal that production of the pilot has been halted, though producers were already hired, casting was completed and plans to build the set were made.

According to the sources, Simon Andreae, FOX's executive vice president of alternative entertainment, was fast-tracking the still-untitled project with producers A. Smith & Co. Productions, but the top brass at the network has put it on hold. A source says the project is dead, but another says it's simply put on hold pending new leadership following the departure of FOX entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly in June.

A spokesperson for the network refuses to comment on the report, while it's estimated that the studio may lose around $2 million in production preparation if FOX pulls the plug on the project.

Meanwhile, a show with a similar format on VH1 is moving forward. Titled "Dating Naked", it features a man and a woman as they each date two different - and naked - suitors in each episode. A trailer has been released to hype up the upcoming premiere on Thursday, July 17, at 9 P.M. Most of the body parts is blurred except for the butt.
