Idina Menzel has been enlisted as a performer at the upcoming MLB All-Star Game. On Tuesday, July 8, MLB announced that the Broadway star would be singing the national anthem prior to the game at Minneapolis' Target Field on Tuesday, July 15.
The Tony Award-winning actress will also perform during the pre-game ceremony where 30 educators, who are all the winners of People magazine's "All-Star Teachers", will be honored. During the ceremony, the star who voiced Elsa the Snow Princess in Disney's "Frozen (2013)" will sing a cover of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young".
Also set to take part at the All-Star Game is country singer Joe Nichols who will perform "God Bless America".
MLB All-Star week will also include a concert by Imagine Dragons at the TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday, July 12. On Sunday, Panic At the Disco will perform at the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Target Field as part of Taco Bell All-Star Sunday. Singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc, meanwhile, will hit the stage at the Home Run Derby on Monday.
The All-Star Game airs at 7:30 P.M. ET on FOX.
