The star of 'The Avengers' addresses people's speculation that he had an awkward moment while sitting beside the fashion designer, tweeting, 'I had a ball sitting next to' Victoria yesterday.
Many stars watched Novak Djokovic defeat Roger Federer for the Wimbledon title live, but Samuel L. Jackson and Victoria Beckham caught people's attention after they were seen sharing an awkward moment at the Sunday, July 6 tennis match. Jackson, however, denied that he and David Beckham's wife were in awkward situation.
The star of "The Avengers" addressed the issue in a Twitter post on July 7. "Lotta Bulls**t goin' round, I had a ball sitting next to @victoriabeckham at Wimbledon yesterday! Truly Lovely!STFU!!" he wrote.
On Sunday, the Beckhams and Jackson were joined by Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky, Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge among others at the match. The former Spice Girls member sat next to Jackson, while her husband sat at the other side.
A Vine video of Jackson and the fashion designer seemingly having an awkward moment then emerged online. In the clip, the mother of four can be seen looking away from Jackson.
Beckham, born Victoria Adams, has not commented on reports of the awkward moment. On Sunday, she shared a photo of a pretty dress and nude-colored shoes she wore to the game. "So much fun at @Wimbledon today! Congratulations @DjokerNole and @rogerfederer #wimbledon2014 x vb," she added.
