Miley Cyrus is bringing her raunchy concerts to NBC. The network has announced that it will air a two-hour documentary special that will give behind-the-scenes look at her "Bangerz Tour" on Sunday, July 6 at 9 P.M. ET.
"Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour" will feature backstage and performance footage from upcoming concerts at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain and the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The Peacock also promises that the special will "examine what makes [Cyrus] such a global phenomenon."
"There are few recording artists with the global success achieved by Miley Cyrus," says NBC executive Paul Telegdy. "This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts."
Cyrus' "Bangerz Tour" kicked off February 14 in Vancouver. The former Disney star had to postpone some shows in April due to a severe allergic reaction. Her naughty antics onstage, including when she simulated oral sex on a Bill Clinton impersonator, have made headlines.
