The Maroon 5 vocalist, whose film 'Begin Again' is opening in U.S. theaters on June 27, sings 'Lost Stars' in a studio alongside a man playing the acoustic guitar.
To promote "Begin Again", Adam Levine released a new video for "Lost Stars". In the clip arriving via YouTube on Monday, June 23, the Maroon 5 frontman is featured performing a stripped down version of the song from the movie's soundtrack, showcasing his smooth vocals alongside a man playing his acoustic guitar.
"Begin Again", where Levine makes his big-screen acting debut, is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on June 27. The film sees the coach of "The Voice" as a budding singer named Dave who dumps his college sweetheart Gretta, played by Keira Knightley, after he turns into a famous superstar in New York City.
Gretta later meets Mark Ruffalo's Dan, a down-on-his-luck record label exec who tries to find redemption by making her a star.
Directed by John Carney, "Begin Again" also stars Hailee Steinfeld and Cee-Lo Green.
In addition to "Lost Stars", the soundtrack album of the movie will include other songs performed by Cee-Lo and Knightley. It will be released on July 1.
