The sneak-peek video offers glimpses at the hurricane that threatens to ruin New York City and its most cherished, iconic sites.

Syfy has unleashed the first teaser trailer for "Sharknado 2: The Second One" to hype up its upcoming premiere. "It's happening again," says Ian Ziering's Fin in the video as a hurricane begins to hit New York City.

Glimpses of people screaming, sharks landing on the ground as well as a look at new cast member Mark McGrath are offered in it. The video proudly features a quote from Entertainment Weekly's review which reads, "Bigger...bolder...even more ridiculous."

Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct the follow-up to the 2013 social-media hit which is slated to debut Wednesday, July 30 at 9/8c on Syfy. Tara Reid reprises her role as April, with Kelly Osbourne, Vivvica A. Fox and Judd Hirsch joining the cast.

According to the synopsis, "a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites - and only Fin and April can save the Big Apple."
