Davis, who played the housekeeper Alice on the popular ABC show, died in a San Antonio hospital after a fall.

Actress Ann B. Davis, who probably is mostly remembered for her role as housekeeper Alice on ABC's series "The Brady Brunch", has passed away. According to her agent Robert Malcolm, Davis passed away on Sunday, June 1 at the age of 88. Davis fell in a bathroom on Saturday and hit her head. She was found on Sunday morning and passed away later that day in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

"She was very sweet," Malcolm said of the late actress, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "I represent a lot of well-known people, and few have been so content with their lot. She enjoyed what she did in life. She just had a birthday [May 3] and was in fine health. It's sad she had to die this way."

"I am so shocked and sad to learn that my dear friend and colleague, Ann B Davis, died today. I spoke with her a couple of months ago and she was doing great!" said Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady, in a Facebook post after learning of the sad news.

During her career, Davis was honored with two Emmy Awards for her role as secretary Charmaine "Schultzy" Schultz on "The Bob Cummings Show", which ended in 1959. She also appeared on other titles such as "The John Forsythe Show" and had a guest role on 1997's "Something So Right". She got a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960.
