Pharrell Williams' new video is packed with colors and girls. The Grammy-winning singer has released a music video for "Marilyn Monroe", the second single from his second studio album "G I R L".

The video opens with Williams' dream sequence in which he tries to reach out to a girl who resembles Marilyn Monroe's style but looks none like the classic actress. Waking up from his dream, Williams hits a dance studio where many different kinds of girls flex their muscles. Kelly Osbourne appears in the middle of the video to provide the spoken backing vocals. The video was directed by Luis Cervero who also helmed Williams' "Happy" video.

Although the song is titled after the actress, it is an ode to a lot of other powerful women such as Cleopatra and Joan of Arc. Speaking of the album's theme, which is stated clear in the title, Williams said, "The last I heard, the only way that this entire species can come into existence is through the portal of a woman's body."

Williams is to release a digital book on Thursday, April 24. He has not provided much detail about the book apart from tweeting, "Happy ...just finished my new book. You can only read it online. I'll tweet the link on Thursday. Hope you enjoy."
