Other strong female singers, including Clarissa Serna and Kaleigh Glanton, are not that lucky and get sent home in the final battles.
"The Voice" has narrowed down the contestants to 20 after two Battle Rounds. On Monday, April 7, the coaches paired their remaining singers for sudden-death duets and picked a winner after each performance.
Clarissa Serna and Dani Moz of Team Shakira took the stage first to cover Pink's "Perfect". Both singers have powerful voice, but Blake Shelton and Usher thought that Dani won the duel. In the end, Shakira chose a singer that she can make the biggest difference with, which is Dani.
Adam Levine pitted Kat Perkins against Dawn & Hawkes, who sang "Suddenly I See" by KT Tunstall. Usher and Blake rooted for Kat and Adam agreed with his fellow coaches, so Kat advanced to The Playoffs.
Melissa Jimenez and Music Box of Team Usher performed Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire". Adam preferred Melissa, but Shakira and Shelton liked Music Box better. Usher chose to keep Melissa.
Blake's Kaleigh Glanton and Ryan Whyte Maloney fought for a spot in the Top 20 by singing "Easy" (Rascal Flatts ft. Natasha Bedingfield). Adam noticed that Kaleigh had improved, but he, Shakira and Usher would choose Ryan. Blake agreed, keeping Ryan on his team.
With only one spot left in Team Adam, Jake Barker and Brittnee Camelle gave all their best in their duet of "Climax" by Usher. Shelton and Shakira liked Jake's "gravelly falsetto." Adam sent Jake to The Playoffs.
Bria Kelly and Madilyn Paige of Team Usher sang The Pretenders' "I'll Stand by You". Shakira and Adam didn't pick a winner, while Blake thought the two girls could do more. Usher chose to keep Bria, and Blake used his Steal to save Madilyn.
