The songstresses are being playful about who deserves the title of the most famous Canadian.
Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne were engaged in a playful scuffle over the title of the most famous star in Canada. In celebration of April Fools' Day, Cyrus posted a short video on Instagram of her calling Lavigne "dumb f**kin' b**ch".
It all started with Cyrus, who's wearing a Rastafarian-striped onesie with a giant pot leaf on the front, reading a fake magazine about Lavigne being the "most famous, beautiful, and popular in Canada." Cyrus was fresh from visiting Montreal and Toronto for her "Bangerz Tour" and thought that she was trending there.
Last month, researchers at MIT came up with a way to track the most famous Canadian through an interactive website called Pantheon. Lavigne's name popped up in the Top 5 list.
Lavigne walked in and told Cyrus, "I'm actually, like, the most famous person in Canada." Cyrus' fuse was lit and she jumped to attack Lavigne. "I may not be Canadian, but I'm the most famous person in Canada, ya dumb f**kin' b**ch!" she said as she playfully wrestled Lavigne.
Lavigne posted on Twitter photos of them fighting and pouting together. "F**k you Miley," she captioned, adding, "April fools."
