The Headless will confront the new creature which is 'as evil and as scary as' he is, and War is back in town with 'foot soldiers.'

AceShowbiz - "Sleepy Hollow" won't return until fall, but stars and executive producers of the show have shared tidbits from the upcoming season 2. On a PaleyFest panel Wednesday, March 19, cast members including Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Lyndie Greenwood, Orlando Jones and John Cho as well as EPs Alex Kurtzman, Orci, Heather Kadin, Mark Goffman and Len Wiseman talked about what's next on the supernatural drama series.

"With Irving [Jones] incarcerated," there would be someone new "in charge of the law and order in Sleepy Hollow," Goffman said, adding that the new captain in town wouldn't be an ally to Abbie (Beharie) and Ichabod (Mison).

War is back in town and he "doesn't work by itself." Orci said, "There are a lot of amazing foot soldiers coming, familiar and also original," hinting that there would be more villains coming in for Ichabod and friends.

There would be also a new creature "that actually our team kind of controls but doesn't," Wiseman shared, adding that it's "a dangerous creation that Headless will have to come to face -- possibly with his own face." He went on describing the creature "as evil and as scary as Headless."

As for how Ichabod and Katrina (Katia Winter) would deal with the fact that Henry Parrish (John Noble) was not only their long-dead son, but also War of the Four Horsemen, Goffman teased, "What do you do when your son becomes the horsemen of the apocalypse? That's what Ichabod is going to have to contemplate if he gets out of that pine box."

"As evil as he is and what he did is, it's still their son," Wiseman chimed in. "So it's not going to be an easy one to decide what to do with him. At the end of it, can you kill your own son? That's going to cause conflict."

Asked if he would return despite his character Andy Brooks' demise, Cho coyly replied, "If I can come back, let's do it."
