The titular vice president played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus meets a new campaign consultant who is trash talking Selina Meyer's staff.
When "Veep" returns with its third season this coming month, Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Selina Meyer gears up to kick off her presidential campaign. The current vice president decides to run for the White House after learning that the sitting president won't run for a second term.
In a newly-released trailer for the show's season 3, Meyer meets a presumed political consultant who points out the flaws of her each staff member. "And then what, I fire everyone?" Meyer asks. "Now what am I supposed to do?" The man claims he can help Meyer to become the "most powerful person on Earth."
"The Drew Carey Show" alum Diedrich Bader joins the cast of the comedy series. Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh and Tony Hale return as Meyer's staff members.
The new season of "Veep" debuts Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 P.M. on HBO.
