The 86th Annual Academy Awards ceremony hosted by Ellen DeGeneres this Sunday will be streaming online through WATCH ABC.com.

AceShowbiz - ABC will live-stream the upcoming 2014 Academy Awards. For the first time in history, the annual kudocast will be accessible to watch on computer, tablet or smartphone through WATCH ABC mobile and web video services.

WATCH ABC is available for subscribers to participating pay-TV providers, including Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications, Verizon GiOS, Googble Fiber and AT&T U-Verse, in select major cities.

Nonsubscribers, meanwhile, will be available to watch "The Oscars Backstage", which will provide live looks into the action backstage and on the red carpet, for free.

"We're excited to once again bring viewers backstage and allow them to experience all of the action on Oscar Sunday - not just what happens on stage, but the stories that play out behind the scenes as well," says Josh Spector, managing director of digital media and marketing for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

The 86th Oscars hosted by Ellen Degeneres will air live on ABC March 2 at 8:30 P.M. EST from at the Dolby Theater inside Hollywood & Highland Center. Degeneres has joined forces with Jimmy Kimmel to film the latest promo for the prize-giving event.

Kimmel himself plans a "Jimmy Kimmel Live!: After the Oscars" special, which will feature Hollywood stars like Tom Hanks, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Meryl Streep, Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Christoph Waltz, Morgan Freeman and more poking fun at themselves and the entertainment industry. Sneak peeks to the special have been released through Entertainment Weekly.
