The third episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' features a mash-up video of the NBC News anchor rapping to Sugarhill Gang's 1979 classic, with Lester Holt making prominent appearance.
Jimmy Fallon brought another of his funny bits to "The Tonight Show" on Wednesday, February 19. He presented a mash-up video of "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams rapping the words to Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight".
Old clips from Williams' newscast were cut and put together to make it appear that the veteran journalist was actually rapping to the beat. "Weekend Today" anchor Lester Holt joined him midway through the hilarious music video, while "Today" host Kathie Lee Gifford made a cameo appearance.
This isn't the first time Fallon has created video of Williams "rapping." He started it back when he was still hosting "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" with past mash-ups including Warren G's "Regulate", N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" and Snoop Dogg's "Nuthin But A G Thang".
