The new sneak peek features some risky scenes as Charlotte Gainsbourg's character tells the story of how she becomes a sex addict.
"Nymphomaniac" has a special Valentine's Day treat before its U.S. theatrical release this March. A new trailer for the first part of the sexually-charged drama arrives, featuring a lot of flashback scenes that show the sexual adventure of Charlotte Gainsbourg's sex addict character as she recounts her story to her older savior.
In related news, a French TV news channel, I-tele, accidentally aired a hardcore porn scene from Lars Von Trier's erotic movie during daytime hours in a mid-afternoon broadcast. Bosses at the TV station quickly issued an apology, citing a production error.
The first part will be available on VOD March 6 before hitting theaters on March 21, while the second one will arrive in theaters on April 18 after getting a video-on-demand release April 3. Stellan Skarsgard plays the man who saves the lead character in an alleyway, while Shia LaBeouf and Jamie Bell portray some of her lovers.
