The Spider-Man co-creator is seen sitting among the attendees at Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy's high school graduation.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" releases a Sustainable featurette. It features the crew explaining the eco-friendly set and some behind-the-scene footage that teases new scenes from the movie. At one point, it gives a look at Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee making a cameo at Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy's graduation ceremony.
For the graduation scene filmed at the East River Park which was damaged by Hurricane Sandy, Sony Pictures' president of production, Hannah Minghella, says they fixed the benches and planted trees. It's just one of the things they did during the production that made the superhero movie "the most eco-friendly blockbuster in the history of the studio."
The film is due May 2 in the United States. Andrew Garfield is back as Peter Parker, and Emma Stone reprises her role as Gwen Stacy for the second film. Jamie Foxx stars as Electro, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, Paul Giamatti as The Rhino, and B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe.
