The members of the choir show off some awkward dance moves when singing the hit song at the opening ceremony at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
The Russian police choir performed at the opening ceremony for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Friday, February 7. The members of the choir delivered an amazing rendition of Daft Punk's Grammy Award-winning song "Get Lucky".
They donned their formal uniform while taking the stage at the Fisht Olympic Stadium to sing the song and show off some bizarre and awkward choreography. They were led by a pair of vocalists who channeled their inner Pharrell Williams.
This is not the first time the Russian Police Choir has covered the track. Late last year, the group shared a YouTube video showing the members, also in their official police uniform, singing the hit single on a stage filled with white smoke and strobing lights.
"Get Lucky" is featured in the French duo's latest chart-topping album "Random Access Memories". In late January, the group performed the track at the Grammys with Pharrell, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder. The song also won the Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance awards at the event.
The choir's full performance can be viewed at the NBC Olympics site.
