"A Million Ways to Die in the West" has just released a red-band trailer for viewing pleasure. It showcases a lot of freak accidents that ended with people getting killed. One gruesome incident involves a giant block of ice, another is a photo shoot gone wrong, and a third incident happens in what looks like a surgery room.
It follows a farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his fickle girlfriend leaving him for another man. When he meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer sees a chance to win back his love but he slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman.
Director Seth MacFarlane plays the lead role, Amanda Seyfried portrays his gold-digging girlfriend, Neil Patrick Harris stars as the ladies man, Sarah Silverman becomes the Westward ho, Liam Neeson channels his inner outlaw and Charlize Theron is his wife. The western comedy will open in the U.S. on May 30.
