Kylie Minogue has debuted the official version of her new single "Into the Blue" and its lyric video. The four-minute clip, which arrived on Monday, January 27, features Minogue strutting her stuff in a tight black dress as she uses her red lipstick to write the lines of the song on the mirrors.
"When I got my back up against the wall/ Don't need no one to rescue me/ Cause I ain't waiting up for no miracle/ Yeah, tonight I'm running free/ Into the blue, into the blue/ With nothing to lose, into the blue," she sings the upbeat and dancey tune.
Described by Minogue as an "euphoric return to the dancefloor," "Into the Blue" was was written by Kelly Sheehan and serves as the first offering from the singer's new album that's scheduled to hit the stores in March, "Kiss Me Once".
"Making this album was quite a journey but I loved it," Minogue recently said of her 12th studio effort in a statement. "It was through a time in my life where there were a lot of changes and new beginnings. I'm thrilled with the response to 'Into the Blue', and I can't wait for you hear the rest of the record!"
Minogue recently unwrapped the full tracklist for the follow-up to 2010's "Aphrodite". The 13-track set will include lead single "Into the Blue", title track "Kiss Me Once" and Enrique Iglesias-assisted "Beautiful".
