The 30 Seconds to Mars member, who lost 35lbs to play an AIDS positive transgender woman in "Dallas Buyers Club", talked about waxing his body while receiving his trophy at the Sunday, January 13 event. "I'd like this opportunity to clear up a few things. I did not ever use any prosthetics in this film. That tiny little Brazilian bubble butt was all mine," he said in his acceptance speech, drawing laughter from the audience members.
"It was a very transformative role, I had to do a lot of things to prepare. One of the things I did was wax my entire body including my eyebrows. I'm just fortunate that it wasn't a period piece so I didn't have to do a full Brazilian [wax]. It's more than an honor to come back and have this support. I never expected it and I never even dreamed of it," said the star who styled his hair in messy bun at the festivity.
