Ritter and Satine confirm their marriage in a statement, saying, 'We feel very fortunate to have started the New Year this way.'
Tyson Ritter of band The All-American Rejects said "I do" on Tuesday, December 31. The musician married his actress girlfriend Elena Satine in a ceremony which took place in Seaside, Fl. in front of 50 closest friends and family.
"We feel very fortunate to have started the New Year this way. With an abundance of love and happiness together, shared with all of our friends and family," the couple said in a statement to PEOPLE. Wearing a wedding dress which was designed by Inbal Dror, Satine exchanged vows with her rocker boyfriend in a beautiful beach wedding which featured fireworks and wish lanterns.
Ritter confirmed his engagement to Satine, who plays Judi Silver on the Starz series "Magic City", in April. At that time, Ritter said that his girlfriend cried after he popped the question. "I was shaking. And we were on a roof and no one fell off," the 29-year-old star recalled. "Thanks for all of your congratulations my friends, it means the world that you all are so kind-hearted. My face hurts from this glued smile!" he added in a Twitter post.
The couple then started preparing everything needed for the nuptials. The 26-year-old actress shared a photo of their marriage license on December 27. "Rehearsal Dinner done!! @ElleSatine and I have been working our butts off, and now all we have to do is wake up, and get hitched!" Ritter tweeted one day before the wedding.
