The very first still from Seth MacFarlane's new comedy "A Million Ways to Die in the West" has just landed online. It gives a first look at Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried and a mustached Neil Patrick Harris in period garbs.
In addition to directing, co-producing and co-writing it, MacFarlane stars as the lead role. The "Family Guy" creator plays a sheepish farmer named Albert who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his fickle girlfriend leaving him for another man.
When he meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer at first sees a chance to win back his love but he slowly falls for the woman instead. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman.
The movie is planned for May 30 release. Liam Neeson, Sarah Silverman and Giovanni Ribisi are in the supporting roles.
