The 'Glee' star tells a story of how a relationship can turn into a battlefield in the Sia Furler-penned song.
Lea Michele has just released a brand new song called "Battlefield". Premiered on JustJared on Friday, December 27, the track is the promotional single off the "Glee" star's upcoming debut album "Louder".
"Battlefield" is a slow-tempo piano-driven break-up tune with powerful lyrics. Michele can be heard singing, "You and I we have to let each other go/ We keep holding on but we both know/ What seemed like a good idea has turned into a battlefield."
The new song was written by Australian musician Sia Furler and produced by Lawrence Goldings. It came just a few weeks after Michele dropped her first single, "Cannonball". The 27-year-old starlet is currently readying a music video for the empowering track.
Michele's album is set to hit the stores on March 4, 2014 and is now available for pre-order.
