AceShowbiz - Cody Simpson is another musician who helps fans get into the holiday spirit. The Australia-born singer has just unveiled the music video of him covering a Christmas classic called "Please Come Home for Christmas".
Filmed in Melbourne, the video features the star wandering around the town alone in a white shirt and black leather jacket while bringing his guitar. He showcases his soothing and tender vocals as he passes some places with Christmas decoration.
The video was presented on the YouTube channel of Awesomeness TV, as part of its "12 Days of Awesomeness". "Thank you to the city of Melbourne for providing such a beautiful backdrop for my #PleaseComeHomeForChristmas video," he tweeted on Sunday, December 22.
"Please Come Home for Christmas" was originally written and recorded by blues singer and pianist Charles Brown. Simpson's version of the song appears on his 5-track "The Acoustic Sessions" EP.
