AceShowbiz - Jen Arnold, who stars on TLC's "The Little Couple", is receiving treatment following a rare type of cancer diagnosis. The neonatologist, however, remained positive, telling PEOPLE in a statement that her prognosis was good and she was battling the disease with surgery and chemotherapy.

"I have recently been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer and am currently undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy," she said. "I am very fortunate as the prognosis is good. While there is never a good time to get news like this, getting it just as we are building our new family is tough in many ways."

"But being surrounded by the love of my husband and our two beautiful children is actually in many ways giving me the strength to fight it even stronger," she added. So far, there is no info concerning the type of cancer she is battling.

Arnold and her entrepreneur husband Bill Klein are the focus of the TLC show, which documents their life with their family. In addition to an adopted son, Will, the couple recently welcomed another addition to the family, Zoey. They adopted the 2-year-old girl from India. "We are thrilled to announce that we've picked up our beautiful daughter, Zoey, from India today," the couple said in October.

"Our hearts have grown in the past six months as new parents to William, and we are excited and overjoyed to welcome Zoey to our family and watch Will becoming a loving big brother," they continued.
