AceShowbiz - NBC has debuted a new promo for "Chicago Fire" spin-off, "Chicago PD". While the previous promo briefly addressed Sgt. Hank Voight's (Jason Beghe) suspicious promotion, the fresh trailer focuses on Det. Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) and his effort to find his kidnapped son.
When his son's life is at risk, Dawson agrees to do it Voight's way despite his bad reputation as Antonio acknowledges Voight has "different way of doing things." The video also offers a glimpse at Sophia Bush in uniform as Det. Erin Lindsay.
Voight is now leading the Intelligence team in District 21 of the Chicago Police Department. Demanding and tough, only those who can take the heat survive under Voight's command. Dawson, on the other hand, has ambitions of running the unit. So if that means facing off against Voight every day, he'll persevere.
The drama series is set to premiere January 8, 2014, at 10 P.M. ET on NBC.
