The Shakespeare story of love, betrayal and revenge gets biker treatment in the vein of 'Sons of Anarchy'.
Shakespeare's timeless love tale "Cymbeline" gets a new modern, gritty take a la "Sons of Anarchy" in a feature film of the same name which just released its first trailer. It stars Ethan Hawke as the main baddie and Milla Jovovich as the scheming queen.
Taking inspiration from the story of a beautiful young princess who weds a man from low social status and goes against her father's wish to marry another noble, this film re-imagines the tragic romance set against a battle between dirty cops and a drug-dealing biker gang.
Ed Harris plays the leader of the powerful criminal empire, Dakota Johnson portrays his daughter, and Penn Badgley stars as her love interest. The film is directed by Michael Almereyda who directed Hawke in "Hamlet" thirteen years ago.
The movie has no U.S. release date just yet.
