Other musicians like Fifth Harmony, Florida Georgia Line, Cher Lloyd and Fall Out Boy also perform from their respective float during the annual event held in Manhattan.
A bunch of musicians celebrated Thanksgiving Day by performing at Macy's parade in New York City. Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony and Florida Georgia Line were among celebrities who joined the annual event which is currently in its 87th year.
Being surrounded by cute stuffed bears on his float, Mahone performed his latest single "Banga-Banga". The pop sensation, who donned a leather jacket, also danced with two backing dancers in the middle of the crowd.
Grande sang her version of Christmas classic "Last Christmas" as she danced with Dora and Boots from Nickelodeon's "Dora the Explorer". Earlier in the morning, Grande took to Twitter to wish her fans a happy Thanksgiving, writing, "Happy Thanksgivinggg my loves... Wishing you a beautiful holiday with your families and loved ones. I am so thankful for you."
The ladies from Fifth Harmony rode on the Pepperidge Farm/Goldfish float and performed their "Better Together". Cher Lloyd made an appearance on a Brooklyn Bridge replica when she sang her "I Wish" alone, without collaborator T.I..
Fall Out Boy performed "Alone Together" with the characters from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Florida Georgia Line, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Joan Jett, Kellie Pickler, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls and many more also performed during the three-hour event.
This year's parade featured over 50 character balloons, which included SpongeBob SquarePants, Snoopy and his bird friend Woodstock and Sonic the Hedgehog. Due to strong wind, the balloons were flown lower than normal.
