The 'X-Men: First Class' actor uploads on Instagram a picture of a red script which he says to be a screenplay from J.J. Abrams' hotly-anticipated film.
Did Jason Flemyng audition for "Star Wars Episode 7"? The British actor recently caused a buzz as he posted on Instagram a script, which he claimed to be a screenplay from the movie. "Pint of Stella and Star Wars script!" he wrote.
Soon after the picture hit the web, it was deleted by the "X-Men: First Class" actor without any explanation. The red crumbled page looked similar to a pile of scarlet scripts posted on J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Twitter this summer.
A new report from Bleeding Cool suggests former "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith has gone in for a meeting regarding a role in the upcoming film. Meanwhile, open audition in search of the actors for two young key roles are still underway.
The movie is slated to hit theaters across the U.S. on December 18, 2015. While waiting for it to get ready, fans can catch "Star Wars" characters making appearance in "The Lego Movie" along with other famous figures like Superman and Batman. The kiddie-friendly film is due February 7, 2014.
"Star Wars" video games are also in the works at Electronic Arts. The first one "Battlefront" will be released in 2015 around the same time as Abrams' film. The games won't be direct tie-ins to the new movie, but focus on "the world that's been created around 'Star Wars' " instead.
Hopefully, the games will meet Abrams' standards since the director was not too pleased with "Star Trek" video game. Despite "Star Trek Into Darkness" raking in an estimated $460 million worldwide, he believed his movie could have performed better if only the tie-in game was not crappy.
