AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez made a dazzling appearance in the Thursday, November 14 episode of "The X Factor (US)". Dressed in a slinky black outfit and a pair of black boots, the 21-year-old starlet treated her fans with a live rendition of her hit single "Slow Down".
Gomez was joined by several male and female dancers, who were all dressed in black. The singer was also seen dancing energetically to the song, which is featured in her first solo album "Stars Dance".
Gomez's performance was supposed to be aired during last week's episode of the singing competition, but was later pushed back due to the show's unexpected voting glitch.
Because of the error, this week's "X Factor" doubled up the eliminations. Carlos Guevara became the first contestant to leave the show on November 13, while Rachel Potter and Sweet Suspense followed the next day.
When taping her performance on November 7, Gomez enjoyed her time with "X Factor" host Mario Lopez. "Backstage with my girl @SelenaGomez! Such a sweetheart... She reminds me of a grown up Gia," Lopez tweeted at that time, comparing the star with his daughter.
Gomez also reunited with fellow former child star Demi Lovato, who joins the competition as a judge. The Disney alums have been BFFs since they were kids on "Barney and Friends".
