The 90-minute TV special, 'I Am Britney Jean', will air Sunday, December 22 at 8 P.M.
Britney Spears takes center stage in an upcoming documentary to air on E!. The network has announced that it will debut "I Am Britney Jean" on Sunday, December 22 at 8 P.M., followed by an immediate rebroadcast at 9:30 P.M.
The 90-minute TV special will follow the "Work B**ch!" singer as she prepares for her two-year residency, "Britney: Pieces of Me", at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Produced by World of Wonder and directed by award-winning filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, it will go inside the excitement, preparation and emotion as the headliner works towards the show that is poised to break new records for the megastar once again.
The documentary also offers a rare glimpse inside Spears' life at an integral moment, as she finishes writing and recording her most personal album to date, all while producing and co-directing her first ever Las Vegas Residency. The 31-year-old star will also open up about her personal and professional life in her most candid and revealing interviews ever.
Spears' Las Vegas residency will kick off on December 27, with rehearsals slated to begin on December 10. She's currently also gearing up to release her eighth studio album, "Britney Jean", on December 3.
