The 'Wrecking Ball' singer is 'stoked' to be joined by the Swedish duo and the 'Everything Is Embarrassing' singer during the tour that is set to begin on next year's Valentine's Day in Vancouver.
Miley Cyrus has announced that she will embark on her "Bangerz" tour that is scheduled for next year. However, the 20-year-old singer will not hit the road alone as she has just revealed that Icona Pop and Sky Ferreira are joining her.
Cyrus shared the news on Twitter. "Stoked to tour with @iconapop," the former "Hannah Montana" star wrote on Tuesday, November 12 and added, "@skyferreira were goinnnnnn onnnnnnn touuurrrrr."
Icona Pop, consisting of Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt , has shared their excitement to be able to join Cyrus' tour. "So EXCITED to announce we're joining @MileyCyrus on her #BANGERZ tour! Get ready to dance with all of us soon! #iconapop #BANGERZTour #party," the Swedish duo tweeted.
Ferreira, who recently served as the opening act on Vampire Weekend's tour, has confirmed her involvement by retweeting the "Wrecking Ball" singer's tweet.
Cyrus' upcoming tour is set to kick off in Vancouver on February 14, 2014. The 38-date trek will come to several cities across the U.S. before wrapping up at Nassau Veterans War Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on April 24.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, November 12, while tickets for general public go on sale beginning on Saturday, November 16.
Before traveling North America for her own tour, Cyrus is set to take the stage at American Music Awards on November 24. She will also join stars like Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone and Robin Thicke to headline "Jingle Ball" tour that will begin on December 2 until December 20.
