'Lost' Star Terry O'Quinn in Talks to Play Lex Luthor in 'Man of Steel 2'

O'Quinn is allegedly one of the actors considered to portray the infamous bald business magnate in the DC Comics universe.

AceShowbiz - Rumor has it, Terry O'Quinn is circling a role in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel. Superman Super Site reports the "Lost" actor is on the shortlist of contenders to play the nefarious Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel 2".

Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad") and Mark Strong ("John Carter", "Sherlock Holmes") were previously rumored to be in negotiations to take on the coveted role. Both actors, however, denied the casting rumors.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman and Ben Affleck is tapped to portray Batman. The superhero flick allegedly in the works under the code name "Sage and Milo" is slated for a July 17, 2015 release in the United States.

Penn Badgley, Ezra Miller, and Adam Driver are reportedly considered to play Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing or formerly known as Robin. Olga Kurylenko, Gal Gadot and Elodie Yung are said auditioning for Batman's love interest rumored to be Diana Prince or better known as Wonder Woman.

Filming has begun last month. Official cast is expected to be announced sometime soon.
