Nominees for next year's People's Choice Awards have been uncovered. Sandra Bullock leads the pack in movie field with five coveted nods. Her co-star in "The Heat", Melissa McCarthy, along with Jennifer Aniston, Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr., follows with three apiece.
Bullock is vying for Favorite Movie Actress against McCartney, Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson. She once again faces off her "Heat" co-star, the "We're the Millers" starlet and the Marvel's Black Widow depicter to win Favorite Comedic Actress. In Favorite Dramatic Actress, meanwhile, she bumps into Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Halle Berry and Oprah Winfrey.
Bullock gets double nomination in Favorite Movie Duo, thanks to her role with McCartney in "The Heat" and her pairing with George Clooney in "Gravity". The other pairs on the list are Chris Pine & Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek Into Darkness"), Aniston & Jason Sudeikis ("We're the Millers"), and Downey Jr. & Paltrow ("Iron Man 3").
On top of that, her cop comedy "The Heat" is up for Favorite Comedic Movie battling "Grown Ups 2", "The Hangover Part III", "Instructions Not Included" and "We're the Millers". Her outer-space adventure flick "Gravity" is among the contenders for Favorite Dramatic Movie along with "Captain Phillips", "The Great Gatsby", "Lee Daniels' The Butler" and "Prisoners".
They, however, miss out the chance to win Favorite Movie, which has "Despicable Me 2", "Fast and Furious 6", "Iron Man 3", "Monsters University" and "Star Trek Into Darkness" as nominees.
Honoring fans' favorites in movie, TV and music, the PCAs will announce its winners in a live telecast hosted by "2 Broke Girls" stars Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings on January 8. Fans can vote for their favorites on the event's official website.
