The actress and her longtime boyfriend said 'I do' in an intimate ceremony in New York City over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - On Saturday, October 26, actress Christina Ricci and fiance James Heerdegen were officially wed in an intimate ceremony at The Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The marriage follows their engagement confirmed earlier this year in February that eventually came after a couple of years of dating kicked off on the set of the now-cancelled TV series "Pan Am" where she worked as the lead actress and he as part of the crew.

The 33-year-old "Casper" star wore a high neck white silk tulle Givenchy haute couture wedding gown with an applique of Chantilly lace and satin piping, with full-length sleeves embroidered with micro pearls and matching long train and veil. It's Ricci's first wedding, but her engagement with Heerdegen was her second. She broke off her first engagement with actor Owen Benjamin in 2009.

"Getting to say 'fiance' instead of 'boyfriend' is my favorite thing. I can't wait for 'husband'," said Ricci last July. And that's what she started to call him by after their romantic nuptials done in front of family and friends in their nearly century-old mansion wedding location, which also serves as the headquarters of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Cocktails were served to the guests as they waited for Mr. and Mrs. Heerdegen to join them for dinner and dessert complete with a candy table. Although the traditional first dance between the couple had been passed on, everyone enjoyed a full night of dancing.
