AceShowbiz - Earlier this month, One Direction announced "Story of My Life" as their next single. On Monday, October 21, the British/Irish boyband shared the snippet of the track, which will be featured in their forthcoming album "Midnight Memories".
The 16-second preview arrived after Harry Styles and his bandmates challenged their fans to get "#StoryOfMyLife16SecClip" trending on Twitter. "OK we can see you've tried really hard, SO..." the boys later tweeted with a link to the snippet.
"Story of My Life" is the second single off One Direction's "Midnight Memories" album, following up smashing hit "Best Song Ever". The new song will be released later this month. Meanwhile, the boys' third studio album is scheduled to hit the stores on November 25.
In addition to gearing up to release their new record, One Direction is currently preparing themselves for "1D Day", a special event which is set to take place in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 23. The seven-hour live stream broadcast will give the band members a chance to interact with fans from all over the world.
