The Ne-Yo-penned track, which will be featured in TLC's upcoming greatest hits album, also serves as the soundtrack to their VH1 biopic that will premiere on October 21.
TLC has returned with their new song called "Meant to Be". Penned by Ne-Yo, the R&B ballad is lifted from "20", the all-girls group's new greatest hit album that is set to be released on October 15.
"Meant to Be" is a slow jam that features surviving members Tionne Watkins a.k.a. T-Boz and Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. Chilli singing about being there for each other. "This goes out to forever/ Through sunshine or the rainiest weather/ And no matter what, it will always be us together," they sing.
The song also serves as the soundtrack to their VH1 biopic, "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story". Starring Keke Palmer, Drew Sidora and Lil Mama, the biopic will premiere on the network on October 21.
TLC is currently readying their upcoming "20" album. In addition to featuring the new track, the record will include the girls' classics, including "Creep", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty".
They are also working on an album of all-new material that is scheduled to drop in 2014.
