The Atlanta producer says that the former Chicago Bulls player personally calls and tells him that he likes the Hannah Lux Davis-directed music video.
Michael Jordan is not disappointed with Mike WiLL Made It's tribute in the music video for his collaboration with Miley Cyrus, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa, "23". In an interview with MTV News, Mike WiLL revealed that the NBA legend directly told him that he liked the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip.
Mike WiLL said that Jordan unexpectedly called him on the day the video was released. "The first day the video came out, he saw the video and he liked it," Mike WiLL told the site on Thursday, October 3. "He was like, 'Man I like the video.' He was like, 'Thanks a lot.' "
"[Jordan] said he watched it a couple of times right then and there and he had to reach out to me," Mike WiLL explained.
Cyrus' twerking, smoking and other insanity aside, the music video of "23" is a tribute to the former Chicago Bulls player. It features Mike WiLL and his collaborators hitting a high school gym and rocking some rare Air Jordan basketball shoes. Cyrus is also seen donning several bikinis made of Chicago Bulls jerseys with Jordan's No. 23 on them.
