The 'American Idol' alum dedicates her emotional performance of 'Someone Somewhere Tonight' to her cancer survivor BFF Summer Miller.
Country singer Kellie Pickler graced the stage of "Good Morning America" Goes Pink episode on Tuesday morning, October 1 to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. The former contestant of "American Idol" visited the ABC morning show with her cancer survivor BFF, Summer Miller.
Pickler performed her 2008 hit called "Don't You Know You're Beatiful" before singing "Someone Somewhere Tonight", a new track off her upcoming album. The latter performance was dedicated to Miller, who stood in the front row of the audience.
Pickler got emotional when performing the touching track, while Miller was seen wiping tears from her eyes. By the end of the song, Pickler had broken down in tears. "I love you," Pickler told Miller before she walked off the stage and gave her friend a warm hug.
During her appearance on "Good Morning America", Pickler also promoted and unveiled the artwork of her new album "The Woman I Am". The record to follow up 2012's "100 Proof" is set to be released on November 3.
