A recently-posted promo for the new episode suggests viewers to stay tuned until the end of the credits.
Another familiar face from "The Avengers" may make a surprise appearance in this week's episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". A promo which was recently posted on the show's Facebook page tells viewers "to stay until the end of the credits on Tuesday. In true Marvel fashion, you never know what might happen."
Some even suggest that the surprise guest star could be Samuel L. Jackson. This is based on a shot in the promo video, which features the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo wearing an eyepatch a la Jackson's character Nick Fury.
"S.H.I.E.L.D." star Clark Gregg hyped the possible surprise cameo by tweeting on Monday, September 30, "Just finished setting my dvd to record episode #2 of #agentsofSHIELD. All of it. Credits and all."
The action, drama series will return with a new episode, "0-8-4", on Tuesday, October 1. Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents travel to Peru to investigate an object of unknown origin, codenamed 0-8-4. But when he runs into Comandante Camilla Reyes, more than just sparks fly at 30,000 feet.
