'The Blacklist' 1.03 Preview: Liz Is Kidnapped
TV

Liz feels like she's being watched as she continues investigating her own husband, Tom.

AceShowbiz - Elizabeth's life is in danger in an upcoming episode of "The Blacklist". It happens as the FBI is on the hunt for a high-ranking Chinese spy, Wujing (guest star Chin Han) which Red claims has hired him to help decode a classified CIA transmission.

The case requires Liz to pose as an FBI cryptographer and go with Red to decode the message while protecting U.S. government secrets. She later gets kidnapped after a showdown with the bad guy.

The case aside, Liz proactively investigates her husband Tom. She feels that Agent Donald Ressler is watching her. When she confronts him about this, he asks back, "Are you hiding something?"

Aptly titled "Wujing", the new episode of "The Blacklist" will air Monday, October 7 at 10 P.M. ET on NBC.

Lead actor James Spader was recently cast as the titular villain in Marvel's film "Avengers: Age of Ultron", which could create a scheduling conflict should "The Blacklist" get a full-season order. Spader has addressed this issue during a conference call.

"I'm hoping that it's going to be a fairly smooth transition, but I don't know," he told TVLine. "We'll wait and see how long 'The Blacklist' plays." He went on contemplating, "If it plays a full season, then I'm sure I will be packing my bags in the last few days of our production on 'The Blacklist' in preparation to get over to London and start shooting 'The Avengers'."
