'The Devil Wears Prada' scribe Aline Brosh McKenna will write the screenplay and actress Glenn Close serves as an executive producer.

AceShowbiz - Another Disney classic villain will get her own film. Following Angelina Jolie's "Maleficent" project, the Mouse House is now developing a live-action story that will center on Cruella de Vil, the wicked fur-loving lady in "Dalmatians" movies.

Aline Brosh McKenna, who co-wrote Kenneth Branagh's "Cinderella", is tapped to write the screenplay for "Cruella". "The Devil Wears Prada" scribe will produce the project with Andrew Gunn ("Sky High" and "Bedtime Stories").

Other details are still under wraps. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glenn Close who portrayed the villainous character in 1996's "101 Dalmatians" and its 2000 sequel "102 Dalmatians" is involved in the project serving as an executive producer.
