Dina Lohan got her license suspended and had to leave the courthouse in a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's mom Dina pleaded not guilty to drunken driving charges filed against her for a September 12 speeding incident on a Long Island parkway. Judge Joy Watson of the Long Island, New York courthouse, where the Tuesday, September 24 arraignment took place, released the 51-year-old Lohan without bail but suspended her license due to the severity of the charges.

Lohan was arrested by state police earlier this month when she allegedly drove 77mph on a 55mph zone on a 0.20 blood alcohol level, more than twice the 0.08 legal limit. The arrest took place nine miles from her Merrick, New York home.

Without directly addressing the accusations against her, Lohan's lawyer tried to leverage his client's clean police file, pointing out that his client had no pre-existing criminal record and was also a longtime Long Island resident who had been able to raise four children as a single mother.

"Dina Logan is painfully mindful of the gravity of her arrest for driving while intoxicated. I am confident that the district attorney's office and the judicial system will temper justice with mercy," said her attorney Mark Heller.

Lohan admitted during her arrest that she had "two, well, maybe three glasses" of Pinot Grigio at a friend's house before being apprehended for speeding on the parkway. She also complained the authorities handled her roughly and injured her when they handcuffed her, but later retracted her claims.
