Adam Levine promises not to 'cheat on' Blake Shelton after a male contestant hits on the Maroon 5 frontman, but Blake hurts Adam's feelings by wooing another singing hopeful.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" was officially back with its original judges on Monday, September 23. As the fifth season kicked off, the judges playful banter and Adam Levine-Blake Shelton bromance were brought on full display again. Of course, the talent got a fair share of the spotlight as they tried to impress the judges on Blind Auditions.

First to audition in the episode was Kat Robichaud. Singing "I've Got the Music in Me", she soon started a "battle" between Blake, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera who wanted her to be in their team. Adam offered a suggestion to Kat before she made a choice, saying, "I know who you're coach is and it's not Blake." The 29-year-old aspiring singer eventually went with Cee-Lo.

Matthew Schuler, meanwhile, set a record for the fastest four-chair turnaround in the show's history with his rendition of "Cough Syrup". After all four judges pitched themselves, the 20-year-old college student decided to go with Xtina, who didn't think he would choose her.

Nic Hawk, who claimed himself a mix of Amy Winehouse and Jessie J, attracted the attention of Adam and Cee-Lo with his performance of Blu Cantrell's "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops)". He was confused about whom he should pick as his coach, admitting to Adam, "My only problem is that I don't know if I'd be able to focus, because you're so good-looking!" The Maroon 5 frontman acted like he's shy, hiding his face behind his note.

After advised by Xtina to "go with your heart," Nic chose to be in team Adam. This prompted Blake to say, "That's gonna be a conflict though. You can't have a relationship with someone on your team." Adam responded, "I'll never cheat on you, bro. Don't worry."

The bromance joke continued as Blake wooed Josh Logan, who sang "Too Close" by Alex Clare, by saying he had "a man-crush" on him. Josh went with Xtina in the end, but Adam said Blake's comment hurt his feelings. The two male judges then worked the issue out by sharing a hug.

At the end of the night, Adam nabbed three singers: Donna Allen who toured with Gloria Estefan for nine years and computer nerd James Wolpert in addition to Nic. Cee-Lo and Xtina scored two each, with the former winning Caroline Pennell over Blake. Three-time winner Blake, meanwhile, scored one: powerful country singer Shelbie Z.
