Rapper 2 Chainz included a digital cookbook called "#MEAL TIME" in his latest album "Based on a TRU Story 2: Me Time" which was dropped on Tuesday, September 10. The cookbook, which is featured in the deluxe edition of the album, contains 14 recipes such as fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Each recipe is designed to link with a song.
The rapper puts funny cooking instructions in the cookbook. As quoted by Entertainment Weekly, the first thing people need to do before making "Me Time sauce" is "go to the mall, spend a handful of racks on a new outfit for the night." Next, "Spend some more 'Me Time' at the house, catching up on old seasons of 'The Wire'," the rapper who previously known as Tity Boi wrote, before continuing with the ingredients.
In another section, Chainz wrote, "Call Fergie, invite her to watch a movie on Netflix. Once she accepts, start making green beans." He also said that the cook needed to dress in "chainz n thangs" while cooking. However, he warned people "not to spill any [oil] on your Adidas sweatsuit."
In a more serious note, Chainz gave suggestion on seasoning as saying, "Keep in mind, all measurements are at the discretion of your palette. As we all know, some people have a lot of flavor, while others enjoy their food and their lifestyle a little more subtle (boring)." He also reminded fans who wore accessories, "If wearing a four-finger ring, carefully place it on a side table before starting to cook."
