Game has announced that he is setting up a project called 'The Robin Hood Project' in which he gives away some cash to the needy and hopes he fulfills the target of $1 million by Christmas.
The Game wants to help people in need with his fortune. The rapper, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is committed to give away $1 million to the poor and he wants to fulfill the target of $1 million by Christmas. He has also created an Instagram account which will document his kind gestures. He named the mission "The Robin Hood Project".
"The other day I posted this pic of an African child I met in Australia playing outside the grocery store. His story of his families' hardships & struggles to get away from the terror they left behind touched me so I gave him what I had on me... Which was an Australian $20 bill," he explained.
"As the days passed, I thought about him over & over & over & the only thing that bothered me about that night was that I didn't have more on me to give him at that time. For some reason I just didn't bring more money from the hotel. Since I can't shake that feeling... I have decided to give $1,000,000 to people I come in contact with around the world everyday until Christmas," he said, adding that he also created Twitter account @therobinhoodproject for the project.
In addition to the "Robin Hood Project", Game has donated $10,000 to the family of a 6-year-old girl Tiana who was shot dead in front of her family house this weekend. Tiana's mother Marquia Macklin told TMZ, "Game told me that he heard about my story and was really sorry. He said that he wanted to help out and put me in touch with his financial team."
Marquia added that she was extremely grateful, saying, "It costs so much to bury her ... sadly $10,000 only covers half of the casket and the plot." The grieving mother said that the money would be transferred on Tuesday. The funeral will be held on Saturday.
