The 'Under the Skin' actress confirms her engagement report but says she and her fiance 'haven't chosen a date for the wedding.'
It's true, Scarlett Johansson, 28, is engaged to marry her French journalist beau Romain Dauriac. "I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged," her representative confirms to the press. "They haven't chosen a date for the wedding."
The movie starlet was reportedly proposed by Dauriac about a month ago with a vintage Art Deco ring. She flaunted the new bauble when attending the Venice Film Festival in Italy with her new fiance to promote her movie "Under the Skin".
They reportedly met through a mutual friend, tattoo artist Fuzi who created her recent horseshoe inking. The couple went public with their romance in November 2012. She was once linked to actor Sean Penn and ad exec Nate Naylor.
It will be Johansson's second trip down the aisle. She was previously married to Ryan Reynolds before getting their divorce finalized in 2011. Her former husband married his "Green Lantern" co-star Blake Lively in September 2012 in North Carolina.
