The 'Elysium' actress is reportedly on location in Baltimore where the Netflix series is filming.

Jodie Foster may take a behind-the-scenes role for Netflix's original series "House of Cards". The Academy Award-winning actress is said to have signed up to direct one episode of the political drama's season 2.

No other details, including which episode she's directing, are available as of press time. Netflix declines to comment on the report, but Vulture which broke the news has learned that the Clarice Starling of "The Silence of the Lambs" is already in Baltimore where production on the second season is taking place.

Foster's previous directorial stints include 2011's film "The Beaver" starring Mel Gibson and an episode of Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black". As for her on-screen roles, she recently starred alongside Matt Damon in Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi movie "Elysium".

The first season of "House of Cards" starring Kevin Spacey garnered critical acclaims. Netflix commissioned the second season even before the series premiered on February 1.
