The Washington D.C. rapper got the ex-'American Idol' judge and curvaceous diva to twerk anew in his new video.
Maybach Music Group artist Wale drops the visuals to "Clappers", the latest single off his third studio album "The Gifted". Appearing with the 28-year-old rapper in the lengthy five-and-a-half-minute clip are his track collaborators, Cash Money Records diva Nicki Minaj and Taylor Gang Records artist Juicy J.
After Wale and hip-hop/R'n'B crooner Trey Songz made a feature in Juicy J's single "Bounce It", the "Stay Trippy" rap star returns the favor to the "Bad" remix artist as he gets turned up by all the "clappers" in their new music video. Of course, all of the sexy girls in the clip pale in comparison to twerking diva Minaj, who can give Queen of Twerk Miley Cyrus a run for her money anytime.
Wearing figure-hugging outfits, from a white bra top with striped pants in shots with her two male counterparts and a yellow tank top and pink tights in her solo parts, Minaj heated up the Benny Boom-directed visuals, just like she always does when she teams up with other hip-hop acts. The former "American Idol" judge is known for being generous with collaborations, so much so that even her first ever team-up with DJ Khaled's in his "I Wanna Be with You" music video premiered at the same time that the "Clappers" clip was released.
Despite "The Gifted" being just recently released, Wale is already hard at work on his fourth studio album "The Album About Nothing", where he is said to be enlisting the help of comedian Jerry Seinfeld and hip-hop/R'n'B record producer No I.D..
